Info:   CENMAC is a team of advisory teachers who assess and review the progress of pupils who have been referred to the service. 

Pupils are referred to CENMAC for advice on access to the curriculum and the recording of text.  Pupils can be referred to our service if they have a disability and have difficulties with access. We work in both mainstream and special schools and with pupils who need access to a keyboard, switches or 'start out' communication aids.

Info:   Merton's Widgit Centre Team is a multi-service team offering support, training and/or assessment to Merton based setting. The different services can help and include the following:
  • Language and Learning Team - offers support to schools to develop their provision for SEN through assessment, modelling intervention programmes and staff support and training for inclusion
  • Educational Psychology Service - works with parents, teachers and other professionals and can be contacted through schools.
  • Team for Autistic Spectrum and Communication Conditions- – works with parents and teaching staff to support pupils with ASD within mainstream schools.
  • Early Years Inclusion Team – supports private, voluntary and independent early years settings to provide high quality inclusive practice.
  • Virtual behaviour Service - offers support for individuals and groups of pupils with BSED as well as training and support to develop 'Pupil Voice'.
  • Teaching and Learning Consultants- provides support with extra resources in the classroom that aid learning and teaching for all children.
