You can have either single user accounts or group accounts. A group account is managed by a co-ordinator who can set up individual accounts, with their user names and passwords.

When you set up a user account you can choose to have an image to represent the user.
You can then set up all of the preferences.

These include:
Your default viewing mode (standard, text or symbol)
Appearance – colours and sizes
Speech – Choosing the voice
Network settings.

When you first set up the account you can click on ‘Test Connection’. And in most cases you do not need to do anything else. However if you use proxy settings for your network, you can enter them here
